Arnold is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Craig Doig and Prof. Gareth Lavery. The aim of his project is to understand the metabolic implications of PARP1 particularly in skeletal muscle.
Prior to joining the lab Arnold obtained a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Dundee, and also under took research assistant positions at the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit in Dundee, and at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
